Martin Sobral's photography is a fusion of documentary and photo essay.
A language through which he shares his experience on a vast and complex subject: the human condition.
He was born in Buenos Aires in 1980. He spent twenty years traveling and living in different countries around the world.
His analog photography is recognized for its involvement in long-term documentary projects, addressing social issues of marginalization, diversity, and culture, among others.
Martin was recognized and sponsored by Leica from 2017 to 2020.

Martin Sobral's work has hundreds of negatives, still unpublished photographs, waiting to be shared.
He is currently based in the city of Buenos Aires, where he continues to work on different photographic projects. He is a member of ARGRA (Association of Argentine Photojournalists).
